Full Service Worker’s AllianceComposed from individuals actively working in all roles in the full service restaurant industry. The FSWA is determined to bring workers and employers together with Legislators to stand up and protect our Full Service Restaurant culture. The dynamic created by bringing full service workers together creates an engaged community and positive working environment.

100 Million Mask Project FB Group & Crafters Against COVID-19 FB Group  (Masks and PPE)

Chief Seattle Club – Meal delivery for quarantined Native elders and relatives: Do you know a Native elder or relative with chronic health conditions who ate their meals at Chief Seattle Club but can’t any longer because they are quarantined? Are you a Native elder who is quarantined and could benefit from receiving groceries delivered to you? Good Farmer FundThe Good Farmer Fund assists farms in crisis. Funds help mitigate financial fallout from situations such as crop loss from extreme weather, equipment or infrastructure damage or loss from fire, flood, or heavy snow, or predator-related livestock loss.

 

CID Restaurant and Small Business Relief Fund  A fund for businesses located in the Chinatown International District. The fund was seeded by a generous $100,000 donation from Vulcan. This initial contribution will focus on restaurants in the neighborhood, which have seen a severe decline in business since early February.

The Plate Fund – Providing one-time cash payments to the hardest-hit workers in the restaurant and food-service industry.

King County Regional Donations Connector  – Donate to nonprofits, organizations, COVID-19 response fund, and more!

A GoFundMe hosted by La Palmera, a local restaurant.

COVID-19 Relief Fund for WA Undocumented Folks
– Contributions to this fund will directly support individual families with $500-$1000 per family.

Decolonizing Wealth – COVID-19 Rapid Response Fund for Native American Communities – a rapid response fund working to deploy trust-based funding to Native-led organizations serving individuals and families impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Pledge 1200 – A website to encourage people to pledge to spend their $1200 stimulus check at local small businesses. Signing up is all you have to do.

Off Their Plate – Off Their Plate’s basic concept is re-employing restaurant workers to make free, nutritious meals for COVID frontline healthcare workers.  You can specifically select “Seattle” as your donation location to ensure that your funds are directed to healthcare workers in the Emerald City.

Refugee Artisan Initiative PPE Fund – RAI has teamed up with medical professionals and clinics  to design and produce, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as masks, gowns and other protective gear to help prevent the spread of COVID-19 infection. Refugee Artisan Initiative’s mission is to transform the lives of refugee and immigrant women by providing sustainable work.

Crafters Against COVID-19 Seattle – This group of Seattle artists, crafters, and sewers are producing Seattle-area hospitals, nursing homes, and homeless response workers masks for themselves and patients. 

Seattle Good Business Network – SGBN is working to build a vibrant, sustainable, and inclusive local economy, and to help our local businesses when they need it the most. Learn about all the work we do here.

Post on social media about how you are helping small businesses! Let others know which businesses you are supporting, share our Seattle Good Support Hub site or our social posts! Be sure to tag #SupportSeattleSmallBiz #WeGotThisSeattle @SeattleGood 

If you have time on your hands in the coming weeks, offer to volunteer for your favorite business or nonprofit. Let them know your skillset and how you can help out. A lot of work can be done online from the comfort of your couch!
