Challenges & Opportunities in the Circular Economy for WA Small Businesses

June 8, 2023 @ 12:00 pm - 1:30 pm

What do existing small business owners need to support their efforts to minimize waste, or to launch and sustain circular business models?

In this panel presentation, attendees will have an opportunity to hear directly about the challenges and opportunities business owners experience, as well as learn about recently completed research that sought to elevate the experiences of business owners. The important task of goal setting and data to achieve sustainability targets for small businesses will also be highlighted.

Panelists include:

JR Siegel, Senior Director of Product Innovation at Higg

Camilla Eckersley, Fashion Designer at Prairie Underground

Ming-Ming Tung-Edelman, Founder & Executive Director of Refugee Artisan Initiative

This session will be of interest to both public and private organizations that are seeking to develop strategies that will best serve the needs of small business owners. We invite small business owners to attend to share their points of view on this topic in what should be a productive discussion to follow.
