Seattle Good Business Network is delighted to present our 3rd Annual GAME OF CHEFS, starring Seattle Restaurant Week chefs facing off in a healthy competition to create the tastiest and most innovative dishes from a basket of Seattle Made products and pantry of locally sourced Pacific Northwest produce and staples! Enjoy an evening at Tom Douglas’s Hot Stove Society filled with delectable dishes, signature cocktails, Seattle Made beer and wine, and decadent desserts!
Local celebrity judges and audience members will choose their favorite dishes to decide who will become our next “top chef.” Attendees will also have the opportunity to meet the makers and chefs, and pick up some Seattle Made treats!
The evening will be emceed by local celebrity chef Thierry Rautureau, Chef in the Hat.
This event benefits the programs of Seattle Good Business Network, a nonprofit working to connect and inspire people to buy, produce, and invest locally, so that everyone has a meaningful stake in the local economy. Chef Kim Cosway of Heartwood Provisions – heartwoodsea.com
Chef Kim attended culinary school at South Seattle College before working abroad in France at 2 Michelin star La Chevre D’or. Upon returning stateside, she worked in several Tom Douglas kitchens and at Farestart before joining Heartwood Provisions in 2016, where she now serves as Executive Chef.

Chef Kevin was introduction to the industry was at age fourteen as a dishwasher working for his Uncle in Ohio. Kevin’s Uncle taught him a love for cooking, and he quickly progressed to be a lead cook by age 17. Kevin decided to pursue a culinary education and attend the CIA in Hyde Park New York. After graduating, Kevin decided to move to Seattle to experience the West Coast lifestyle. Once in Seattle, Kevin spent time working at Szmania’s and Osteria La Spiga. Eventually, he accepted an opportunity to learn from (the original) Chef Kevin Davis – starting at Blueacre Seafood and then eventually becoming the opening Chef de Cuisine at ORFEO. As noted above, not to be confused the owner of ORFEO is a one Kevin Davis while the Chef de Cuisine is Kevin J Davis.

Chef Kristi has spooned her way through the culinary industry for the past 28 years. Starting at a small café in downtown Seattle, Kristi has done just about everything from dishwasher/prep cook to running her own catering business for nearly a decade. From the beginning, her vision was to focus on the art and experience of food through culinary activism. A purpose powered by her mantra, “Everybody’s Gotta Eat!” Chef Kristi desires to build community through the cultivation of fresh food and fine cooking.
Currently, Chef Kristi is lovingly referred to as Chef Goddess of That Brown Girl Cooks!, a food, culture, and community hospitality group. Simply put, she calls it a “Culinary Collective.” TBGC! explores her inspirations, melds them with her experiences, and brings them back to the communities she serves.
