Cone & Steiner

Cone & Steiner is a modern take on the classic general store, and we believe that people come together over good food and drink.  Cone & Steiner features specialty, local, and basic goods at our two Seattle stores and online/delivery platform as well.  C&S is based on my Great Grandfather Sam Cone’s original store of the same name, established in Seattle in 1915 shortly after he came to this country.  As a young man who didn’t know anyone here or even know the language, he created a community for himself through his business, providing folks with meats and groceries and provisions, and a space to gather.   This is where and how community happens.
