IRC Seattle Small Business Program

Empowering Seattle entrepreneurs with free business support and accessible business financing.

The Good Stuff

Community Partner

The IRC Seattle Small Business Program offers complimentary business counseling and startup support to entrepreneurs within the Seattle Metropolitan Area, with a particular emphasis on serving immigrant and refugee populations in South King County. However, our services are open to all entrepreneurs, regardless of their background.

Our dedicated IRC Seattle Small Business Team provides comprehensive assistance in business planning, licensing, registration, and referrals to specialized services through our community partners. In collaboration with our Financial Coach, we ensure that entrepreneurs receive essential credit education and coaching, preparing them for low-barrier business financing opportunities via the IRC’s CDFI – the Center for Economic Opportunity.

We regularly conduct both virtual and in-person workshops in multiple languages, accessible to entrepreneurs from diverse backgrounds. Additionally, our program includes specialized initiatives focused on women’s economic empowerment, such as childcare training for newly arrived Afghans and a sewing training program.

We invite you to join the IRC Seattle Small Business Program and transform your entrepreneurial aspirations into reality with our expert support and accessible financing.
