Nightshade is a plant shop and tattoo studio owned and operated by Aleisha Tilson and Joseph McSween. The idea of Nightshade started by wanting to increase creativity and art through the form of green spaces.

Ran and operated by life and business partners Joseph McSween and Aleisha Tilson, Nightshade® is Seattle’s first and only hybrid tattoo and plant shop.

Nightshade Tattoo has been established by artist Joseph McSween in Seattle, Washington for over 10 years. His main focus is working in the black-work styles of tattooing. It wasn’t until 2019 that Nightshade Tattoo branched out and expanded it’s business through the art of nature. Collectively Aleisha Tilson and Joseph McSween collaborated and formed Nightshade, a plant shop and tattoo studio.

The idea of Nightshade started by wanting to increase creativity and art through the form of green spaces. It has been stated that both nature and art improve mental and emotional health. We hope to spread these green spaces by providing a variety of unique and rare botanicals to your home. Also by allowing a space to release your creativity through the form of tattoos.
