The Pastry Project is a social enterprise that provides free baking and pastry training to individuals with barriers to education and jobs in the industry. We work with nonprofits to find students who would most benefit from this program and then work with several Seattle hiring parters to place graduates in fulfilling and supportive jobs.
In order to sustain this free training program, The Pastry Project teaches paid public-facing workshops, has a goody box membership, and hosts pastry pop-ups.
