Community Carrot is a 501c3 non-profit that advances equity and justice through entrepreneurship for Seattle/King County’s low-income young adults. We provide 16-week long training programs for 18 to 24 year olds who come from low income and want to start businesses to change the trajectory of their lives and future generations.

We provide $1500 in start-up capital, mentors, and business education to put low-income young adults on equal footing with entrepreneurs who come from more privileged backgrounds.  Our partners include local businesses such as indi chocolate, Pagliacci, and Molly Moon’s.  We are also funded through individual donations and a generous grant from the Washington State Microbusiness Association.
